EBook Review: Wickham Hall Part One By Cathy Bramley

Name: Wickham Hall
Author: Cathy Bramley
Publisher: Transworld Digital
Release Date: 25 June 2015
Summary: Holly Swift has just landed the job of her dreams: events co-ordinator at Wickham Hall, the beautiful manor home that sits proudly at the heart of the village where she grew up.

Her first major event is a spring wedding of royal proportions. Holly has every detail covered, so all she has to do is keep calm and carry on… Easier said than done!

As the church bells ring, little does Holly know that come Monday, she’ll have a new boss. And it might not exactly be a match made in heaven…

Review: I am going to be brutally honest here. I downloaded part one of Ivy Lane from Cathy Bramley but I have to admit I still haven't read it.

I kept seeing Wickham Hall advertised all over the wonders of Twitter and I thought yeah let's give this a read. I was on a journey to Manchester and my friend had decided to sleep for a bit so I downloaded this treat. I instantly loved Holly Swift in some ways I saw part of me in her and in others I just felt for her. Holly lands the job she has been pinning for but is it all it seems? I won't be spoiling that in case you read this tasty treat but it sure is fun reading her story. I must say that Ben sounds lovely and fun although I must say he made me feel a little flustered I don't know about Holly.

Part one ends with Holly realising she has a new boss. This could be lots of fun but it could be an emotional disaster for Holly Swift. She has already proved that she is an asset to the business but will her new boss see that. I love the way Cathy writes it's so likeable and easy to read. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series and to read more from her. I am definitely a fan.

I have just now pre-ordered part two which is available on the 23rd July. This date has meaning for me, as it will be the day I do a trial work day in my soon to be new store. So I know what I will be reading on the train. I should get much more reading in now as I will have varied hours and a longer journey to work.
