As the Christmas season is ripped apart by the news that Jess’ old friend Alex has been turned into a vicious killer, festivities are dropped, Jess returns to England and the hunt begins. As things hot up, Jess finds she must leave Daniel and the safety of Manchester in a final hunt for her nemesis, Mary. Review: Well firstly I want to thank Twitter for making me stumble upon Emma and the WitchBlood series. I'm sad to say that WitchHunt is the final story. I really enjoyed this series. Jess changed from such a scared girl to such a confident vampire/witch. Sometimes with books that are based in a series the longer they go on the worse they get. Not these wow was WitchHunt intense it sure did make my journeys to work seem like they went by in minutes.  Yet again Emma had me hooked begging for more and enjoying every single second of WitchHunt. As I mention in previous reviews on this series Jess was such an easy to love character that you always felt for her. Thankfully, I still have the novella to read so that will keep me quiet but if you haven't looked up the lovely Emma Mills make sure you do if vamps and witches are your thing.
WitchHunt has action, suspense, romance, friendship, love and death. For those of you who haven't read this or any of the series I won't be spoiling any of that fab suspense. What I really liked was that Emma tied up all the loose ends of the story but she has cleverly left it open and I hope one day she returns to Jess, Daniel, Eva, Brittany and co. What I also loved about this series it was based in Manchester yay! So many vamp stories are Americanised which is fine but sometimes it's nice to read something a little closer to home. The scenes with Alex were heartbreaking although it totally had to happen. Mary Mary Mary!!!! she was one scary ass vampire that is all I will say.
