Summary: I′m fine. I′m sorry. Please take care of him for me. And maybe one day I′ll get to explain.

She knows Kitty is mad and wild and loves to wear clashing colours. She knows she′s incredibly funny and generous but also very unreliable.

She thinks she knows everything about Kitty, except she doesn't.
Kitty knows that she is the happiest she has ever been.
She knows she′s so lucky to have a lovely boyfriend, Simon and a best friend like Angie.
But what she doesn′t know is that on this night, her past is finally going to catch up with her and change everything.

Review: Have I mentioned how much I adore Claudia Carroll's books, writing and generally her as a person. I have read a few of Claudia's infectious  short stories as well as Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow and A Very Accidental Love Story. I shall make my way through her back catalogue in between my growing TBR list. I have loved each and every story Claudia has written and I have adored lots of her characters.

Me & You is a book that had me hooked and intrigued from the word go. Angie is witty, funny and just generally an easily loved character. Kitty sounds awesome but I shant say anymore as this is not going to be a huge spoiler. I may even go as far as saying my favourite book of Claudia's so far. The amount of research she must have done to make this story so REAL.
Me & You is a rather poignant tale, that has happened to many people and it will continue to happen to many people in our everyday lives. But unless it's happened or is happening to you it's not something any of us dare dream of.
This is by far the more frustrating yet intriguing books that I have ever read from anyone and definitely from Claudia's books to date. I don't want to air my original frustration as I would not want to ruin that for you the reader. This tale of friendship, heartache, love, her and abuse is soooo well thought out and as I said earlier researched. What I can say in regards to my frustrations I was sat there reading going but why and where??? constantly having different thoughts of various scenarios swimming through my mind. I will say the outcome totally through me but when I sat and thought about it, it was also partially obvious.
There are three parts to this story and each had a twist that I was not ready for. If you have read any of Claudia's novels you'll be able to hear her distinct voice throughout the text which is also heart-warming.
This story is about testing a friendship. Do you really know everything about your love ones or best friends? In some cases it's sad to say that NO we don't really know the real person beyond the persona you are given.
A truly inspiring novel that will make you think of what really matters in life. It will also make you think before you judge, appearance's can be deceiving. Some of the happiest people on the outside are the most vulnerable on the inside.

Finally all that is left for me to say is Me & You is intriguing, inspiring, infectious and just god damn beautiful. A terrifying real story, written with pure grace and the usual Claudia Carroll witt.
