MIRA INK BLOGGER PARTY HIGHLIGHTS 21/3/13

When ever Dark Reader's girls get invited to blogger events we always get exctied because it means learning about amazing new books coming out, meeting fellow bloggers and awesome publishers and awesome goodie bags! So when we were invited to Mira Inks party we were VERY excited as they know how to throw a party and last years event there was AMAZING. Here is our highlights of the evening:

So me and the lovely Chanel got on the train from central London and went all the way to richmond on the train! it was great! we had a right good catch up while waiting to get there! ^^^here is us! woop!

So when we got into the event we had a lovely welcome from the publishers and we also found out that our blogger event was being filmed for a documentary about their publishers on channel 4 so me and Chanel were excited! As soon as we walked into the room our eyes hit these amazing bad boys! these cupcakes were amazing and they are so pretty no? they were to goodlooking to eat! Mira always has the best cupcakes! they had lolly pops on top!!

Chanel enjoying her cupcake to much ;)

We started off with a slide show of Miras new releases coming this year and here are a few us Dark Readers girls are excited about!

The Eternity Cure By Julie Kagawa
We are very excited for this. After reading The Immortal Rules we are dying to read this! There was a lot of controversy over the American cover for The Immortal Rules because the girl on the cover did not match the girl ethnicity wise so the AWESOME Mira Ink put the right ethnicity girl on the sequel and it is one beautiful cover! the purples are amazing and I am very excited. Its released in May this year.

With All My Soul By Rachel Vincent.
Now I could sit here and gush and gush about this book but I am afraid I may cry because the series is over and it is one of my all time favourites. Here is my REVIEW. That is out on the 5th of April 2013.

Dare You To By Katie McGarry
So I had read her first novel Pushing The Limits (REVIEW) and loved it so much. When I found out she was writing a sort of sequel I was over the moon and the story sounds so amazing! I now have the proof in my hands and the cover looks amazing! I cannot wait for this! Thats out June of this year! We also Skyped with Katie and what an amazing and funny person she is! check out the video I filmed of her telling us a hilarious cringy story.

INK by Amanda Sun
This book sounds amazing! japanese YA! the cover is beautiful! Ill let Amanda tell you what this love story is about!

Lots more things and awesome books were mentioned at the event but if I told you all of them youll have a VERY long post but these are the ones WE are very excited for so we hope you guys are too! Check out the awesome Goodies we got! I must say MIRA know how to treat us bloggers! they even get us signed books!!!! and check out the tote bag! its the best one I have ever had!

  4. I was a little hesitant to book this place as my reception venue at first because it was more of an unknown place. But this place turned out to be the best choice we made.
