Book Review: Stolen By Lucy Christopher

Name: Stolen
Author: Lucy Christopher
UK Publisher: Chicken House
Summary: It happened like this.
I was stolen from an airport.
Taken from everything i knew,
everything I was used to.
Taken to sand and heat, dirt
and danger. And he expected
me to love him. This is my story.
A letter from nowhere.

Review:*wipes away the tears* good god. Stolen By Lucy  Christopher was intense! I cannot believe I haven't read this book sooner!
So I haven't read any books about the Stockholm effect and was obviously apprehensive when starting it because it could be really bad or really good in this case but OH how I'm glad I carried on.
Kidnap, Love, heat, snakes, desert, forbidden, complicated but yet beautiful. Gemma has been kidnapped by the most beautiful guy who's been following her for years. She's been taken to the desert in Australia she hates him... She hates him... But can she forever? Or does she fall for him?...

The way Lucy describes Australia's desert is magnificent. You can literally feel each sun ray on your skin, you can literally feel like your walking in the sand.. She has done this so cleverly and actually makes you want to stay there even though you know its wrong.

I think Lucy has written this novel very cleverly why you ask? Well first of you think "Ew there is no way I'm gonna be ok with them two together" but Lucy's words totally mess with your head and you can't help root for them in every possible way. Lucys beautiful words really make you feel your Gemma and you can't help but fall for Ty as she does.

One thing that I loved most was how it was written. It was written like a letter to Ty. "You did this, you did that" I haven't read a book like how this was written ever. I absolutely loved it! I shall be defiantly finding more like this style!

Lucy has taken me on a roller coaster of confusing emotions, brought me back down to earth and has left me speechless! What an amazing novel!
