Summary: Lenah Beaudonte is, in many ways, your average teen: the new girl at Wickham Boarding School, she struggles to fit in enough to survive and stand out enough to catch the eye of the golden-boy lacrosse captain. But Lenah also just happens to be a recovering five-hundred-year-old vampire queen.
Review: Finally another Vampire based novel I can get into were they are actually evil. I was given this by the awesome people at Macmillan and I had never heard of this novel before. Why I have no idea. As soon as I started reading this novel I was totally hooked I love the concept of a Vampire who has no idea of the 21st century about to live in it! I haven't come across this in any novel and I am very excited about this series.
One thing that I love about this novel is the fact that these Vampires actually kill humans! Hallelujah! I'm so bored with Vampires eating animals and being so nice. I love the flash backs in this novel they really help you get to know each characters personality more. I love the contrast between Lenah being an evil vampire and a nice human. My Favourite character is a Rhode he's such a compassionate vampire and a fantastic read. There is Tony the hilarious friend of Lenah. Justin Lenahs love interest and Lenahs Vampire coven . All these characters were not at all two dimensional and really stood out to me.

The way Rebecca describes Lenah's surroundings is so magical can actually close my eyes and imagen myself there! Its so effective and left me thinking about it days afterwards. As much as there is humour and happy moments its still terribly haunting and addicting. There are some really touching scenes in the this novel that Rebecca has written so beautifully. From Justin and Lenah to Lenah and Rhode the scenes had me crying, smiling, giggling....all the emotions named in the dictionary I felt and that's why this book is a fantastic read.
I appreciated the detail Rebecca has put into each scene. For example in the flash backs Rebecca describes every little detail from the lighting to the clothing of the characters and these little details really do set the scene for the novel and have you feeling each emotion the characters are feeling. As a British girl myself I loved the fact Rebecca used a British Vampire in this novel and I thought it brought lots of diversity into this novel.
Infinite Days is a Haunting, beautiful, thrilling love story that had me feeling every emotion ever named and I cannot wait for the second instalment and being brought back into Lenahs world because its a place I never want to leave.

I know what you mean about there being a lot of books with friendly vampires in them (I mean I love those too) but it sounds fab that this one features a vampire that wants to eat you - terrifying but fab. Adding to my wish list.
Rhode made my heart melt! Can't wait to read the next one!
